Completely agree. It's the reason I can't watch them or read them either. Took me a while to get into TVD. If it hadn't been for Damon, and then the timely introductions of Alaric, Miss Perl, Anna, et al.
Can't see Stefan/Elena lasting...if Williams past series are any indication. But I could be wrong about that.
