The show definitely likes to do cycles, or mirror characters, lots of mirror imagery going on.
Henry and Bae in some respects are mirrors of each other...both have parents who split. And Bae being with a new fiancee...is in some respects an echo of Millah being with Hook. Emma also oddly has been identifying with Rumple a great deal as has Rumple with Emma, he keeps telling her all the things they have in common.
You know, I'm beginning to understand why Belle is so damnable gullible...
It's admittedly been a long day, but I think you lost me there...is it because she's surrounded by all these manipulative control freaks?
