shadowkatWork has made me hate nit-picky pedants. You can tell someone has too much time on their hands when they have time to nit-pick.
Vamp Diaries was fun tonight. My favorite bro-romance continues to be Alaric and Damon, hands down. Also Lexie dead or alive annoys me.
* So is the veil down for good? This can't be good. Bonnie, what did you do? Besides kill yourself that is? Jeremy may be cute and all that, but he's so not worth it.
* Meanwhile Damon has ended up with the cure. So what will he do with it? Will he give it to Elena? Or will he take it himself and get her back that way? Interesting that he ends up with it and Alaric gives it to him, having discovered it in Silas' pocket. Also interesting that Silas was in Alaric's form when got turned to stone.
I don't think that's the last of him. He'll be back.
* I could do without Lexie. The actress and character for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on - annoy me. And Stefan with Lexie is even more annoying, as he is with Caroline.
Not pairing I'm happy with. Although I liked what Lexie told Stefan - "what more does she have to do to give you the hint - she punched you in the face." And her hinting that he should move on to Caroline - the blond that has replaced her in his life.
Personally, I think he should just ride solo. Caro I like better with Nikklaus or Tyler.
* Where's Rose Marie and Anna and Vikie???? I want Rose Marie back, she was way cooler than Lexie and not as annoyingly self-righteous and hypocritical. Plus a better actress.
Oh well at least I got Alaric.
* We also apparently get all the vampire hunters back...whoopsie. And they are for some reason going after Rebekkah and Matt??? I'd be making an end-run to Nikklaus, if I were them or at the very least Elena/Damon/Stefan/and Caroline.
* We also have Cole - who has a beef to pick with Elena.
This was entertaining, but I've no clue where they are headed with it or how they plan to resolve it. Clearly the writers couldn't wait to do the corporeal ghost bit. (At least it wasn't zombies. Thank god for small pleasures). Now I'm curious to see how they write themselves out of it, now that Bonnie is dead. Also who will take the cure? My money is still on Damon...mainly because everyone else is sort of boring, what can you write about Rebekkah, Katherine, Elena, or Stefan taking it? Caroline doesn't want it. And I don't see Damon giving it to any of them. The fact he ended up with it - and the fact that Elena doesn't want it - leads me to believe he may take it to get Elena, and put it out of Silas' grasp. I don't really want him to take it - takes a bit of the edge of him, but I can't come up with a better scenario. Unless it's either Rebekka or Elena, or something lame like Silas or Matt becomes a vampire and they give it him so he can graduate as a human?

And the scenes with Damon/Alaric and Elena/Jeremy were the most touching IMO.
