So really the mechanics have turned me off of it. I'd rather read meta or fanfic, easier to access on multiple levels. Ah, I see. I had dial-up until the end of last year, but (unfortunately?) for me I got hooked on vids once I upgraded.
Controversial or Ships that aren't as embraced by the core of fandom seem to have less vids. I noticed that. Hm, that's interesting about Eleven/River, since I always got the impression that it was quite popular too.
