As dlgood says Mary, Queen of Scots was beheaded at 45 by her cousin Elizabeth I. You may be thinking of Lady Jane Grey, the Nine Days Queen of England, who was beheaded aged 16 by her cousin Mary Tudor. They were big on cousing beheadings in those days!
There is a lot of drama to be head by M, Q of S's time at the French Court, but I don't think Reign will be it.
