Spontaneous Musings

I was somewhat disappointed with American Hustle. Like Russell's two previous films, the acting is outstanding. The individual scenes are often great. As a movie, it's certainly better than Silver Linings Playbook, but AH is too long IMO. I felt it could have used some editing, even if a good scene or 2 had to be cut. Some of it just seemed repetitive.

This doesn't make it a bad movie, by any means. It's a good movie. I just think it could have been tighter. YMMV (and obviously does).
