Live music is always such a crapshoot - sound systems go kerplooey, my back gets sore, sometimes the performers are having a bad night - but I keep going for those moments where the private becomes public, when I can look around and recognize the emotions I'm feeling on the faces of strangers and the difference between the song, the singer and the audience doesn't seem to exist anymore. It's rare but it's worth it. Then there are those times when I just want to slam into people so it's useful to have them around. ;)
Yay!
