Don't know if the twist at the end is really doing much good for S3. "Clone girl seeks clone boy" is one of my dread scenarios.
Had a similar reaction. It's too contrived. That's what I'm afraid of, they are going to stop focusing on the interesting ethical/philosophical/legal issues raised in the first season - and go the soapy route.
Plus we have to deal with the boring and somewhat overdone military storyline - very few television sci-fi shows handle military stories well. They tend to fall into cliche or stereotypes. I don't know why this is?
I've seen a few here and there, but most either make the military out to be "evil" or "too honorable for words". It's not that clear-cut.
