1. Did anyone else watch Once Upon a Time last night? What did you think?

My somewhat spoilery thoughts below the cut:

As much as I love the idea of the shattered mirror spell - it's amongst the many reasons that Hans Christian Anderson's original fairy tale The Snow Queen is my favorite, I really don't want to see an evil Regina again. I find her more interesting ambiguous or good. When she's evil, she whines and has what amounts to troll logic, which grates on my nerves. She makes a better heroine than villain, I much prefer Rumple, The Snow Queen, and Maleficiant as villains.

That said, I am admittedly looking forward to Dark Snow and Dark Charming...that should be fun. Also, Dark Belle, Dark Henry, would be nice.

Wish we could have gotten Dark Emma - that we haven't seen.

Speaking of Emma - I really feel for her and Killian. Poor Killian. I can't wait for Belle to throw Rumple to the curb...when she finds out about this. (She better find out and throw him to the curb.)

The Frozen Characters are far more likable than expected. But, I feel as if we're spending too much time with them?

My guess is the Snow Queen arc will be remedied by the end of this year, with something happening as a result of it to set off the next arc - most likely the consequences of what Rumple has been doing behind everyone's backs.

2. I'm considering setting up a separate blog under my own name. Have any of you done this? If so, what platforms do you suggest? Blogger? Word Press? Something else?
I have little patience with techy stuff - so the more user friendly, the better.

3. I'm thinking I should not be permitted to purchase books on Amazon without supervision. There's some dirt cheap deals - I bought six books in the last few days, ranging from .99 cents to $5. I'm addicted.

I use Blogger. It's fairly simple, though I get formatting problems sometimes when I copy from Word. Word Press gets better reviews, but it seemed more platform than I needed when I set mine up.

Belle simply must have an apocalyptic hissy-fit. If she doesn't, she's useless because she deserves to have a huge, honking hissy-fit.

And I'm looking forward to everyone's evil selves next week. I can't even picture what an Evil Charming might look like. It probably will be his 99.5% supportive rather than 110%. *snerk*

Oh dear lord, yes. I'll be really disappointed if it doesn't happen.
Plus with the foreshadowing...when she saw herself in the mirror and the mirror reflected all her fears.

This should END the Belle/Rumple ship completely.

Just purchased a couple of Laura Kinsales that were on sale...and a Courtney Milan. I'm shameless.

I am using WordPress to repost some of my more general-interest LJ posts.

Still watching OUAT but too, too busy at the moment to chit-chat about it much.

I am very much looking forward to next week OUaT. Just the way Mary Margaret looked at Charming when the curse hit gives me great hope.

I'm very much looking forward to the Charmings' snipe attack. Also Kristoff being nasty...assuming of course that he has a nasty bone in his body.
