1. I clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, actually I blame my chocolate addiction - it's made me increasingly edgy and irritable. And yes, it is a full-blown addiction. I need to get rid of it, and not have any more. Which I'll do after my birthday.

Boss: Why are you here today? I thought it was your birthday and you were taking it off?
Me: Eh, no. I'm taking Monday off. My birthday is March 9th. Although I can see why you may have confused the two, I flip the 6 and the 9 all the time too.
Boss: Is this a big number one??
Me: No. No. Not yet!

Later...I got this from a friend:

There have been one too many people that I've wanted to sit on this week, and ahem, quite a few of them online. I may turn this into an icon. From now on - if you piss me off - I'll just throw this at you. It'll be funny. Not to mention cute. I have it posted in my cubicle and immediately outside it.

2. In the news...I don't know if you heard about this or not? But just in case you were wondering why airports close down and cancel all flights during a major snow storm or bad weather:

Apparently this wasn't supposed to happen, because the FAA was investigating it this morning.

I'm just glad my cat doesn't sit on my head

I guess some folks just can't stand to stop anywhere but the gate and insist on complaining. ;o)

Your government at work: Note to the FAA. You might want to see if the plane slid uncontrollably because the runway was slick. Just a thought... The news reported that the FAA would take up to a year to investigate Harrison Ford's crash landing on the golf course. Witnesses say the engine (a radial engine which requires lots of fiddling maintenance to keep running) sputtered and died. The plane was damaged, obviously, but not destroyed. All the things that could have gone wrong with that kind of plane have been known since the 1940s. Once they start looking they should be able to figure it out pretty quickly. What the news ought to say is that the FAA might take up to a year to get around to officially reporting what happened. Ford, if he doesn't already know, will probably know in detail what happened before he gets out of the hospital.

Hee. There's a video out there with a woman brushing her teeth, while her cat is sitting on top of her head, its on the towel wrapped around her head.

Ah found it:

She made a video of it, because no one would believe her.

LOL! I have to admire her courage in posting that on youtube though.

Right now, I'm debating adopting a kitty. I keep talking myself out of it.
