Casting a hypothetical Buffy movie

I think a music teacher lives next door? Hearing a lot of music scales. I took today off, so am soaking in the sunshine in my apartment. Went on a nice little walk (see last post for details). Chose not to brave the park, because with the melting snow and warm temps - it will be all ooky - basically mud puddles everywhere. And me without any wellingtons. Note to self - buy wellingtons and hiking shoes.

Anyhow...after watching various episodes of Constantine - which I only watch for Matt Ryan who plays the lead - I thought it would be fun to cast a movie version of Buffy, with the characters a bit older, and not necessarily canon. I like casting things, I think I'm a frustrated casting director.

Here's my suggestions so far:

1. Buffy: Jennifer Lawrence




2. Angel - Colin O'Donghoue



[Bonus - he actually has an Irish accent.]

3. Spike - Matt Ryan



[Actually has a North London accent.]

4. Willow - Emma Stone



5. Giles - Scean Bean

6. Xander - Fran Katz

7. Cordelia - Zoe Saladana



That's the core group. Feel free to add suggestions...

What age are you assuming for the characters? Buffy would be 32 by now, so I was thinking someone like Kristen Bell. But if you're planning a straight continuation from Chosen, then Jennifer Lawrence makes sense.
