Okay, I need Regina icons. Or Regina and Emma icons, those would be equally appealing.
I'm officially a Regina & Emma shipper (platonic, clearly both are heterosexual).
And as an aside, I prefer kid Lily to adult Lily. The actress was better and far more appealing.
They did manage to surprise me. Not at all what I expected.
*I still don't think the plot quite works. Also, how did the Socerer's Apprentice get to Lily and out of Storybrook? Was he also not affected by the curse? Guess sho.
The Selena plot line doesn't work. I'm sorry. She's not that good an actress. And she knew nothing about Marian, so wouldn't the son or at least the father have seen through her at some point? That's of course not taking into consideration the whole plotline that just happened this fall. And I haven't rewatched the episodes. It wasn't that long ago, I can still remember it.
In addition? Rumple? It's not how you are dealing with Belle that is turning your heart black, it's how you are dealing with everyone else, especially Emma and Henry. Belle doesn't matter all that much to anyone but you.
And how stupid is Belle? Seriously she didn't know that Regina took her heart? And she's not tuned into how horrible Rumple is? I really hate how they've written this character.
Will Scarlet deserves better. And what happened to Anastasia (The White Queen from Wonderland)? Belle is definitely not an improvement.
* In direct contrast, I adore Maleficiant - but then I like the actress quite a bit.
She was among the few reasons I was still watching True Blood. (I keep wanting to write amongst - which is the British spelling.)
At any rate - what they are doing with Lily and Emma is rather interesting. Lily doesn't come across as evil or an anti-savior in the real world. Also, both Lily and Emma are thieves, who fall on hard times and make bad decisions. Lily oddly finds out who she is long before Emma does.
But why did the Socerer's Apprentice decide to go find Lily and tell her everything? And why did he paint Snow White and Charming as the villains, when he went along with it and knew they were manipulated into doing it by the author? That makes no sense. I don't see his motivation. Feels contrived.
Curious to see if Lily really goes through with her revenge plans. I was relieved to see Regina talk Emma down, much as Emma had talked Regina down on various occasions. The episode was worth it for that scene alone.
* Why can't Robin leave Selena? Just because she's pregnant? Who cares. I mean he can leave her and take the baby from her. Or file for joint custody. The whole Daddy stays with woman who gets pregnant to keep him...doesn't work in this day and age.
Although that admittedly was not a twist that I saw coming...I half expected to see Robin dead or Selena pretending to be Robin, after she killed him. Why does Selena have her powers outside of Storybrook? Is it because she was never cursed or part of Storybrook?
* This season my favorite character is Regina and it's really only Regina's scenes that are working for me. And only when she's on screen. Hook is under-used. I almost want Emma to go dark just to see what Regina and Hook do. I'm finding Hook and Regina more interesting than anyone else.
Robert Carlyle is fun to watch...but his character is becoming stale and repetitive. Not to mention predictable. Also, it still makes no sense why he'd help Selena or be in cohoots with her - considering Selena killed Baelfire.
* I have a sneaking suspicion that the writers are planning another reboot - if so, I want Baelfire back.
2. I've apparently picked up some British spellings or Britishims without realizing it.
Possibly from interacting with so many Brits and Europeans online? Don't know.
* I keep spelling among - amongst.
* I couldn't care less - I could care less.
* toward and backward - towards and backwards
Discovered this when I hired a professional line editor for my book. They corrected all the Britishisms. Apparently American writers aren't permitted to use the British spelling of English words unless they are writing English or British characters.
See? It's things like this that make writing difficult. No consistency in regards to spelling, grammar or punctuation in English.
3. Have decided to forgo the Good Wife tonight. Don't need to be aggravated.
My mother called, to ask if I'd called her. No.
Mother: I'm watching the Good Wife.
Me: I'm not. Decided that I didn't need the aggravation.
Mother: Well, I'll go back to watching it.
Me: I'll let you continue to be aggravated.
Mother: and I am...
Me: It's aggravating tonight? I was right?
Mother: yes, it is.
Me : Good to know. Uhm..how?
Mother: Well, let's just say that I don't think Kalinda is long for this world.
Me: Well, we sort of knew that for the last few months now...
Mother: Oh, I'll leave my cell phone on just during the day, since you can't call me on the landline and just in case you need to reach me. And leave it off at night.
Me: Mother, I don't call during the day -- I'm at work. And if I do, it's not my work phone that can't reach your landline. It's my home phone and cell. I call in the evening.
Mother: Oh. Well. I'll leave it off during the day and on in the evening then.
Me: Yes, that would work much better.
No, they still haven't fixed the problem. But they have both sent me customer survey's to inform them how well they did on their respective customer service phone calls. Personally I think they should fix the problem first, then send me their surveys. But that's just me. T-Mobile will take 72 hours, Optimum promises 48 hours. Assuming either can fix it. While my mother's stupid phone company insists it's not their problem. It may be their router -- but my phone companies should contact their central office and router. The whole thing is irritating and absurdly amusing at the same time. As they say at work - you can't make this stuff up.
That's the thing that amuses me the most about critiques of fiction. Someone will state : this situation is not believable. Well, actually it is. Crazy stuff happens. People do nutty things. What are you living in a bubble universe?

Haven't seen this week's Good Wife yet...mother says it wasn't as aggravating as last week (where it basically jumped the shark from a plot and character perspective.)
My difficulty right now is I have over 47 hours worth of tv...and all focus on frustrating issues. LOL! My mood is for funny, and mellow.
