So, in the space of 24 hours, we've had David Bowie (age 69) and Alan Rickman (age 69) die of cancer.
Plus a 1.6 billion lottery, the first in history, with everyone buying tickets, and a scattering of winners.
Universe? Are you trying to tell us something?
In other news, I bought David Bowie's new album "Blackstar" at B&N, it was on sale.

Date: 2016-01-15 01:43 am (UTC)I usually just get stuff on itunes, but with Bowie's Blackstar, I made an exception. I wanted the CD -- because I wanted the cover art. If I had a record player, I'd have gotten it on vinyl.
And downloaded from itunes "the Best of Bowie - Platium Collection" and "The Rise and Downfall of Ziggy Stardust". Already have Low and Next Day (which I hadn't gotten on CD.)
Needed to cheer myself up.
