shadowkatI'm avoiding all discussion of the election from hell this weekend. I can't do anything about it, but vote. Which won't happen until Tuesday, because unlike some states, there's no early voting in New York. Unless you can prove you will be out of town. I miss the levers, the new style is coloring in little circles or bubbles on computer sheets that are then scanned -- which makes me nervous.
Made the mistake of reading my LJ flist and FB, and my blood pressure skyrocketed, took me a while to calm down. Scared the bejeesus out of me. The internet and news media are scaring me. Actually, I think they are scaring everybody.
So, been watching or rather binge-watching Longmire on NETFLIX -- am currently in the 4th season. There are five seasons so far. It's really good. And rather comforting - mystery series. I don't usually like mystery series, but this one is well done, not as predictable or paint-by-numbers as so many of them tend to be. It also evolves the characters and plays with an unique setting.
Due to work and election anxiety, not getting very far with the NanoWriMo thing. It may end up just being a wash.
