Jul. 23rd, 2017 09:08 pmHmmm...note to self, just because you delete something, doesn't necessarily mean it disappears.
Although I do it a lot. Mainly because I'll re-read the comment or think about what I posted and go, frak. I did not mean to say THAT. I meant to say THIS. But someone will totally think THAT. What to do? DELETE! DELETE!
OR, damn, that didn't come out as well as I thought it did. Note to self, sugar warps the brain.

Date: 2017-07-24 06:55 am (UTC)I was indeed putting it down as sugar. But I don't have comment emails turned on so whatever your sugary thoughts in my direction were they are lost to the ether.
We've all done it.

Date: 2017-07-24 07:12 am (UTC)Ohh, it warps more than that, especially if you live long enough!
Twice now in the last week, when I got out of bed in the AM my right ankle felt like it was badly sprained, hurt like blazes when I tried to put any weight on it. Puzzling, because it was perfectly fine when I went to sleep.
But... I'm diabetic, and one common consequence of that can be peripheral nerve pain-- sustained high blood glucose attacks the nerves, they get unhappy. So I check my blood sugar, and sure enough, it's higher than normal for the time of day, although not yet dangerously high.
I've been controlling the condition with diet and exercise for well over a year now, but it's easy to slip into old (and tasty) habits, and upon pondering, I suspect that's the case.
So, strict carb-avoidance for the next several days to see if it settles. I have medication to take if necessary, but I want to do without if possible.
