This is Day #3 of the 30 Days of Halloween Challenge

The prompt is A favorite Vampire-related television, song, film or novel series.

My difficulty is I want to use my all time fav for something else. So...I'm going with..the movie that inspired my all time fav..

Keifer Sutherland who is a notorious jerk, is amazing in this film. He makes the film work all on his own. Also Sutherland and Jason Patrick are hot.

When it comes to cinematic representation of vampires, why not the first? F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu (1922) is still creepy, highly effective horror, with a number of optical tricks still startling 100 years later.

Max Schreck's Orlok is not a Hungarian aristocrat (Lugosi), a dark prince (Oldman) or a sex symbol (Langella)--he's a bipedal vermin, barely passable as human, and one of the most visually arresting monsters ever.
