Day # 23 of the 30 Day Television Challenge

Day #23 of the 30 Day Television Challenge..

The prompt is A series, mini-series or made for television film that was imported from another country and bonus points - in a language other than your own, (it's okay if you watched it dubbed or with subtitles, you don't have to watch it in that language - it just had to have been done in another language.)

Boys Over Flowers - Korean Series - available on Youtube and Netflix. It's in Korean with Subtitles.

I'll go with Foyle's War. Fine detective fare and a little different from the usual

Something appropriate for Halloween:

The Kingdom (1994); Dutch miniseries (created by Lars von Trier)

Imagine a hospital drama set in Twin Peaks, and you might have an idea of the weirdness on display here:

Sprechen sie Deutsch, meine damen und herrn? Gut!

(Which is among the few wordsI can recall from my high school German classes).

Borgen. (2010-2013) In Danish with English subtitles. It's on Netflix. We've only seen season one so far but it was brilliant. We checked it out of the library. There are three series of this political drama, ten episodes each. According to Wikipedia, it's returning in 2022, which will be fascinating, if true.
