The prompt is A series, mini-series or made for television film that was imported from another country and bonus points - in a language other than your own, (it's okay if you watched it dubbed or with subtitles, you don't have to watch it in that language - it just had to have been done in another language.)

Ah, I've seen that one - it was brilliant. Stephen King tried to do an adaptation for the US, but it didn't work or even come close to what the original was.

I saw it in 1994 - I think. I rented it from a video store - I think that's how I saw it.

Forgot all about it.

It's kind of St. Elsewhere meets Twin Peaks by way of The Shining.
