This is Day #21 of 30 Days of Halloween Challenge
The prompt is A horror film or television series or book series that you disliked or considered bad.
I can't think of anything. I'm sure there's one out there. But I'm drawing a blank.

Remember a few days ago, when I kvelled about The Mist (2007), Frank Darabont's scary, nasty adaptation of Stephen King's novella?
Well, in 2017, Spike TV ran a ten episode miniseries based on the same material--and it is ten hours of my life I will never get back. The scares were decent enough, but the characterizations were all over the map, and the villain of the group turned out to be a "crazy gay boy" stereotype that made you want to throw a rock through the TV. All the thought provoking themes present in the novella and Darabont's movie were trotted out... and promptly frittered away.
The season ended on a cliffhanger that nobody wanted resolved. Canceled with prejudice. Rest in pieces.
