Too wired to sleep right now. Own fault, o'ded on sugar. What is it about
sugar cravings? You resist, resist. But chocolat iced brownies are calling. Then you give in - edgy, and jumpy about things. Also possibly the source of nightmares. Not good. Sugar = the root of all evil. Next to cafeeine. At any rate things are grating more on my nerves tonight for some reason.

Thought about doing that "The Three Things" MEME. But couldn't come up with answers to several of the questions. Also, not so great at memes I don't create myself - they have rules and stuff.

Skipped the "Legend of Earthsea" - sounds a little cheesy and I don't like the
main leads. Also after reading [livejournal.com profile] randomways review, who needs the grief? I picked other entertaining cheese to watch tonight.

Warm thoughts go out to [livejournal.com profile] herself tonight. I'm not sure what's wrong, but I hope you are feeling better soon.

I must go dig out my copies. That could take awhile, because my book filing system is based on Chaos Theories.
I haven't read these in years, but I liked them, and I'm a fan of Ursula LeGuin. I was kind of looking forward to the miniseries, but not now.

I turned it on briefly Monday night, but then off again.
Looked somewhat cheesy. Didn't watch the next night.
Shame, had actually been looking forward to it over the summer.

Why are fantasy/sci-fi books so hard to make good movie
adaptations of?

I can think of maybe one or two off-hand that I liked.
1. Lord of The Rings
and....
okay struggling for a second one. So make that one.

Got it - Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. That was the second.
