Day 25 of the 30 Days of Television Challenge

I kind of screwed up. I used Day 29 for Day 24. Mainly because Day 29 of the Halloween Challenge is the same as Day 24 of the Television Challenge. Confused? So am I obviously.

Anyhow...Day 24 was supposed to be A television horror/science fiction anthology series that you'd recommend.

I'm going old school, although I know there's new stuff on, I've just not watched it.

I know I've mentioned this series before but I'd go with Boris Karloff's Thriller .
Not all the episodes are worth watching but there are some very good ones like : Pigeons From Hell, A Wig For Miss DeVore, The Hungry Glass, The Cheaters, The Grim Reaper .
Plus you get to see people who later became quite famous like William Shatner, Russell Johnson, Dick York, Mary Tyler Moore.

One of my favorite anthology series of the 1980s: Tales from the Darkside.

George A. Romero was the executive producer, and the series had an appealingly loose, low-budget feel, with talented actors like Carol Kane, Bruce Davison and Darren McGavin chewing on scripts from stories by Romero, Stephen King and other horror masters.

It was never really "the best," but it was always entertaining.

Love that opening.
