This is Day #12 of 60 Days of Gratitude Challenge
Today's prompt is Name three living people in your life that you are grateful for.
(I changed it a little.)
1. My mother - who is my best friend, confident, and cheerleader.
2. My niece - who gives me hope and keeps me sane.
3. Jay - one of my bosses at work - who helps keep me centered and mindful
Here's a picture of one of these women, with her cats...of whom I'm also thankful.

Date: 2020-11-14 04:56 am (UTC)We certainly are.
2. Tom, my only current best friend who lives in the same town as me. We worked together at the audio store, he in the commercial division, me in the home. Our in-joke is that we refer to one another as "the brain-damaged technicians", a reference to the industry and its effects on those such as we.
3. My ex-boss at the audio store, who retired from it 12 years ago. Now in his mid-80's, I still see him occasionally. We worked together for several decades, and he always treated me with appreciation and respect, and not just for my technical abilities, but as a person. While technically an employee, he treated me like a partner.
