Day #19 of the 60 Days of Gratitude Challenge
The prompt is What Splurge Item that you own are you grateful for?
The Steel Case Work Chair that I bought in May. I spent more than I usually do, it cost more than the television set - but it has been a life-saver. Even if I had to buy a wheel for it - it was missing a wheel.

Date: 2020-11-22 06:24 am (UTC)It's a Canon Pixma Pro-100, a wide format printer, and falls in a category generally known as "prosumer"-- much better than the usual office-type general purpose ones, but not nearly in the price category of true professional products (which start around $1000 and quickly go up from there).
It's not quite as good as the Epson it replaced, but the price was reasonable and it's pretty darn close once tweaked a bit with the software. It does do better than the Epson with black & white prints, since it has extra ink tanks just for that purpose.
There are three things that help keep me sane... music, my exercise walks, and my photography hobby. So-- it was a splurge well worth it.
