1. Neil Gaiman explains the casting for the Sandman series in development over on Netflix

It has interesting casting. I do not remember the comics as being female centric - actually that was my critique of them, but Gaiman's series is very female centric. And Lucifer is being played by Gwendolyn Christie.
Also instead of John Constantine, we have his great-great grandmother, Johanna Constantine played by Jenna Coleman.

Also has Naomi Walsh, David Thewlis, and Joley Richardson in various roles.

They've cast the first book and the second in the series.

Netflix dealt with the loss of the Marvel series, by acquiring the rights to develop the Sandman series. Clever, Netflix, clever. They are doing the cult comics. First Jupiter's Legacy, now Sandman.

2. Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has a 4th Season

I'd given up on it. I don't know if its the final.

I know what's on some of those outtakes. Why do you think I despised the man and stopped watching the Apprentice?? I met people who worked on the Apprentice in the early 00s. And they told me about it.

4. Ursula Le Quinn's Left Hand of Darkness is on sale for $2.99 on Kindle. I scooped it up this minute. Mainly because I can't read the paperback copy that I own - the print's too small and its dusty and old. I'll die. But I can't seem to part with it either.

Oh that's very interesting, as is the news about what the MGM sale entails!

I thought so too - neither occurred to me.

MGM sale is interesting - it's going to have a huge effect on HBO MAX - they have a lot of the MGM vault. Singing in the Rain is MGM, I think. As is a lot of those old musicals.

Also the Bond films are MGM.

And the Mark Burnett reality series...such as The Apprentice. (I've been waiting for a while now for the Donald's antics behind the scenes on the Apprentice to catch up with him.)

Yep, I figured that out from your misread of my post. For the record? I don't hate Bezos...but I do despise Trump. Amazon helped me out various times. I don't hate it. Also it's kicked Barnes & Noble and the NY Publishing world in their financial knee-caps, so that's always a lovely thing - they deserved that. And I've a family member who worked with Bezos - and personally knows him, and had a great working relationship with him. Bezos isn't as evil as the media paints him.

Trump - I despise because I've had family members who have had the unfortunate experience of working with him or his family long before he ever ran for President. The man is a despicable pile of shit. And I met people who worked on the Apprentice, with him, and know how he treated them and everyone around them. He's worse than the media has painted him out to be.
