1. Have you ever had a long distance relationship?

Friendship and family? Yes. Currently. My family lives very far from me. So do a lot of friends for that matter, unfortunately.

Romantic? No.

2. When you make a mess are you more likely to clean it up right away, or do you get to it later?

Clean it up right away, depending on the mess of course. But usually it gets on my nerves fairly quickly. If food related - immediately.

3. What do you look forward to the most about the colder times of the year?

Sweaters, boots, socks, and well sleeping under the covers, coats, the smell of the cool brisk air. Not sweating. Changing leaf colors.

4. Have you ever hung your clothes out on a clothesline?

Yes - with my grandmother. But now just on indoor clothes dryer racks.

5. What is the dumbest way you’ve injured yourself?

When I twisted my ankle, tripping over a curb, and fell on my head.

6. If you use libraries, what is the largest overdue fine you've ever had?

See? This is why I don't use libraries. I might as well just buy the book as opposed to renting it. However - with e-book borrows this is no longer an issue.

7. When was the last time you did something for the first time?

That sentence gave me a headache. 2021 - hybrid work schedule. Wearing a mask on Amtrak during a pandemic. I mean hello, we're in a pandemic - every month or so there's something.

8. Which holiday is your favorite to decorate for?

Considering the fact that I'm not a fan of decorating...I'd say maybe Xmas, but it's also the one I do decorate for, and somewhat half-hazardly.

9. What craft project do you want to do next?

Craft project? What's that? Do people actually do those?

10. Do you have any family members that you've never met?

Yes. More than I can count. It's a huge family, and I've a lot of cousins I've never met face-to-face.

11. When it comes to friends, what's the biggest thing you have in common?

God knows. Values, I guess. We value the same things. To be honest, it's important to share the same values and/or world-view.

12. Did you ever hit anything while learning to drive?

No, or not that I remember - it was a very long time ago.

13. Do you prefer bright colors, dark colors, or pastel colors?

How about all colors? Is this to wear? Dark, possibly bright. Generally? bright colors and dark.

14. How long have you lived with the person/people you currently live with?

I've lived with myself all my life. It would be very odd if there was a time I wasn't living with myself.

15. What was the dumbest thing you ever did as a teenager?

Again too long ago, can't remember. My teen years are a blur. Note? After fifty-four years on this earth, teen years are rather unimportant and kind of fade into the ether. I mean think about it - I've been on the earth fifty-four years, I was a ten for what? Ten years? That's ten out of fifty. And they weren't that eventful, kind of forgettable really.

16. Would you prefer hardwood flooring or carpet in your home?

Hardwood flooring - easier to clean, and less prone to allergies.

17. What’s the most you’ll pay for a pair of shoes?

Depends on the shoes. Maybe a little over a hundred, but no more than that, and they should be sturdy and well made. I also have a size that's difficult to find shoes for - so there's that.

18. Which flower is your favorite?

Lily

19. Which season do you think is the prettiest?

Spring

20. What is the last thing you cooked?

Salmon, cheese and spinach almond flour quesadillas for lunch.

21. If you could live in a fictional world, which would it be?

Don't know. I haven't seen a fictional world that would be any better than the current one. Although, it would be nice to live in the world of Star Trek. Yeah, Star Trek.

22. Where was the farthest you’ve ever traveled from home?

Australia, possibly Tasmania.

23. Have you ever slammed the door when you were mad?

Yes. And when I'm not mad.

24. How old were you when you met your first love?

20

25. Were your college years the best years of your life?

Debatable, I liked my childhood quite a bit. Adulthood is overrated, there's bills, responsibilities, decisions and stuff.

26. What’s the most relaxing thing you did today?

Meditated, and watched the artistic swimming on the Olympics

27. What do you usually drink with breakfast?

Water

28. How many closets does your house have?

2 - but it is an apartment.

29. What year is your car?

Don't own one.

30. What’s the largest animal you’ve ever had as a pet?

a bunny rabbit. Seriously the bunny rabbit we got to take home for about a week during science camp - was larger than our cat. Our cat was afraid of the giant white bunny rabbit. Everyone at science camp fought to take home the giant white bunny - my brother and I campaigned to take that bunny rabbit home with us for a week.

Cats are generally scared of rabbits. Ours used to chase cats around the garden - once, a cat jumped into the pond to escape. Oz was partly right - bunnies (at least, adult bunnies) can take care of themselves.
