Archiving is...well, interesting, I keep running into responses to posts from embers_log, who died at the age of 62 in 2013 or 2014 from a colon infection. I'm currently in 2011. I remember finding out via Facebook and was devastated at the time. (We'd had a falling out several months prior over Whedon - who she worshiped and was devoted to as a fan. (Keep in mind that this was back in 2011 and 2012, not now. But it is kind of ironic.)
I miss her. It's like running into a virtual ghost and a reminder of the number of people offline and online that have jumped in and out of my life over the years...

My life has lots of turn over.

I got used to it. Assuming one ever does.

Human relationships are miserably temporary.

Aren't they?

I know what you mean. In going through my old posts I was reminded of people who have been gone for a while -- not so much those who abruptly left but who drifted away, posting less and less until they weren't there anymore. I do wish many of them were still around.
