shadowkatInteresting, the Buffy episodes are now available for free on Youtube. I don't know what happened, but someone apparently didn't care about the copyright any longer. Just a year or so ago, I couldn't get any of the episodes. Better yet, you can watch them in segments. It's part 1, part 2, part 3...so you can skip over the stuff you don't want to watch again.
The internet is a very weird place. But then it's always been weird.
It's cold here all of a sudden. I do have a long jacket, not sure it's as warm as I wanted. It is warm. But I found myself hunting shorter, warm jackets.
Also I reviewed all my finances, and I feel poor.
Mother: You really aren't though.
Me: I didn't say I was, I said I felt poor, there's a difference.
Mother: Your cousin can't afford her dental work.
Me: While, I'm just worried about being able to retire before 67, with all the insane health care costs.
My mother takes after her mother - I whine about my lot in life, she throws far more disadvantaged family members in my face. Her mother was better at it though.

Now that I've finished the Perry book, I'm reading the Trevor Noah book, which is more interesting. Both are harrowing in different ways, but Noah has a better knack with humor.

I get the instinct to be like "others have it worse" and I feel like the previous generations have a tendency to harp on it more, but yeah, I am not a huge fan.

Date: 2022-12-13 11:32 pm (UTC)Coat turned out to be warmer than expected today, also discovered that the cozy boots that hadn't fit last year - fit this year. (I've no clue why. Maybe my feet aren't as swollen or something?) So I was warm and not hot. Also long coat came in handy. I think it all depends on how light the sweater under it is?
What's odd about Buffy episodes on youtube - is before when they put up episodes or clips, they were automatically removed - at least within the last few years. But for some reason or other, Disney doesn't care about Buffy material being up there. When two years ago it did.
