[I got tired after day 19, it's a long meme, so gave up. I may do the rest at some point, who knows? I don't do them day by day, because I'm not that mentally organized. There's a reason I'm not freelance.]

1 – Global Family Day: How do you define family?

This is an individual thing, I think? And I'd say whomever you chose to think of as family. For me? It's the people who I'm closest to, blood and non-blood related.


2 – World Introvert Day: Do you consider yourself an introvert, an extrovert, or something in between?

Introvert to extroverted introvert. I walk around and talk to people at work.

3 – Women Rock! Day: From the Supremes to Janis Joplin to Tori Amos to Billie Eilish, women have made their mark in the world of music. If you were putting together an all-female play list, list five performers who would absolutely have to be on it.

4 – World Hypnotism Day: Have you ever been hypnotised? If so, how was the experience?

No.

5 – Whipped Cream Day: Do you like whipped cream? Have you ever made whipped cream from scratch?

Yes. It's hard to make from scratch without the right equipment. I tried doing it recently and the cream would not whip. It was either the cream (heavy whipping cream - coconut/almond) or the hand mixer. Also takes forever without the right equipment.

Favorite is non-dairy, low fat, low sugar - True Whip.

6 – Take Down the Christmas Tree Day: If you celebrate Christmas, when do you put up your tree and when do you take it down?

I have a tiny one in the window. I put it up three weeks before...and well it's still up as we speak, so maybe this weekend or maybe February...

Mother's - she puts up two weeks before, and takes down three-four days after.

7 – I'm Not Going to Take it Anymore Day: What gets you to the point of saying you're not going to take it anymore?

Repetitive actions, bullying, manipulation, injustice

8 – Winter Skin Relief Day: What is the best skin moisturizer you've tried? Do you use different moisturizers for your face and body? Other than moisturizers, do you have any other tips for keeping your skin feeling and looking healthy during the winter months?

9 – Coming of Age Day: What does coming of age mean to you? What, if any, coming of age ceremonies or rituals are practiced where you live?

I don't really practice any and it means zip. I don't care.

I think First Communion when I was a kid, and Confirmation, and Sweet Sixteen (although I don't remember doing much for it), High School Graduate, College Graduation, 18th Birthday (little done for it) and 21st Birthday (not a lot there either).


10 – Shop for Travel Day: First celebrated in 2018, Shop for Travel Day has continued annually on the second Tuesday of the year ever since. The reason for it being situated at this time on the calendar has to do with the fact that, in many cases, the early weeks of January are an especially advantageous time to shop for travel due to many companies offering special deals and discounts. When was the last time you travelled within your own country? How about outside of your own country? If money (and time) were no object, where would you love to travel to?

11 – Take the Stairs Day. Does your house have stairs? If you have the choice of stairs or an elevator, which do you choose?

a) Apartment building and yes.

b) I don't like elevators all that much, so stairs most of the time.

Probably. Not really. Can't quite remember.

Yes. Depends on whether I have to commute to work in it or travel through it. If so, would rather do without. If I can stay inside and just watch it - or walk briefly through it - I love it.

16 – Nothing Day: Should we observe this day by not asking a question? Is it literally possible to do nothing?

Yes to both.

17 – Ditch New Year's Resolutions Day: Do you make New Year's resolutions? If so, how successful are you at keeping them?

Yes. Depends on the resolution ...and varies.

18 – Thesaurus Day: Do you own a thesaurus? How often do you consult a thesaurus to find just the right word?

Yes. Rarely - I have the internet, which kind of does it for me.

19 – Popcorn Day: Do you like popcorn? What is your favourite topping for popcorn? Or do you prefer it plain?

Yes. Butter or Chocolate. No.

I'm enjoying Peaky Blinders. I think I've fallen for Cillian Murphy's character, but want to strangle Sam Neil(on the other hand it's hard to hate him - it is same Sam Neil.)

Was thinking about this the other day - and have realized that most of my favorite actors are either British or well, not from the US. I don't why that is.

Peaky Blinders is a BBC/Netflix production.

Very young me imprinted on Sam Neill when he played a villain in a made-for-tv adaptation of Ivanhoe. A very handsome man.

For me it was My Brilliant Career, and then Damien, where he played the villain. I've followed him on Twitter - the actor is kind and laid back. And he's aged very well.
