Quick flyby
Dec. 15th, 2003 08:10 pmThanks to the people who made me feel better and not insane, recently. I completely freaked. You helped. Appreciate it. ;-) Honestly, I'm beginning to think I need to leave posting boards for a while. Way too jerky on my emotions - almost as bad as work. Actually I preferred work, it was a) real and b) I got a paycheck. Sigh. New year! New hopes!
Tomorrow I'm off. Hopefully. The weather seems to be holding. 3 weeks in Hilton Head Island, SC. That's off the coast of South Carolina and just a little to north of Georgia, not far from Savannah, GA and Beaufort, SC for those geography buffs.
Oh...a writing/fanfic challenge? My dear departed aunt once had an assignment to write a story on the topic "miserable thin skin".
What she created was a story about a girl dreaming about a wonderful world, only to wake up in a dreary hospital bed - dreams can have miserable thin skin. So can emotions apparently.
