Baaad day on black rock (that's a film by the way, an old western with Spencer Tracy, which I know zip about but that it's an old western with Spencer Tracy). [ETA: thanks to the comments below - it's not really a western, although TCM called it one in it's description on the DTV info box, baaad DTV writers! My Dad, at any rate confirmed this, not that I don't believe you, stating he'd seen it recently on TCM and that it is brilliant and I should make a point of seeing it someday. Apparently Spencer Tracy was nominated for an Oscar, and possibly won? Also it's been quoted a lot in Film Noir and film books. In short, add to netflix list if it doesn't reappear on TCM any time soon.]
Today started with me wanting to murder the computer people at work who managed to screw up my computer while doing an automatic migration of all the company's computers to a new server. Okay they didn't do it, the script or scrib did, not sure which, I can never understand computer geeks at work - they all speak some foreign language with a very thick slavic accent, no matter the workplace. [ETA: actually he doesn't have a thick slavic accent in person, just over the phone...]
They did fix it, eventually...it's always eventually. I did not handle it that well, I'm afraid (I squeaked and whined) partly due to a lack of sleep the night before, and the shitload of work I needed to finish and was stressing over, which was prevented by the annoying computer malfunctions. If it ain't broke? Trust the computer geek squad to break it and then take two hours more of your time fiddling about to fix it. So That's how they keep their jobs? Now we know.

(by the way I've been using that last bit of slang far too much lately, no clue where I picked it up from, but must resist continued usage.)

How long have you been into Angel: The Series and/or, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and/or Firefly/Serenity? Too long. (Since it aired, which was 1997, with frequent laspses or drifts away...like any compulsive habit - you go nuts over it, you get bored, you go nuts again, you get bored, you go nuts, you think it's time to give it up and move on, you go back because it's comforting and makes you happy - like the Harry Potter books do, or Proust, or PG Wodehouse.)

What non-Jossverse fandoms are you into?: None (don't really do fandoms - been into tv shows, but not enough to post like I did with Buffy. As they say - timing is everything.)

What do you post about in your lj?: Everything under the sun, moon, and stars - ie. Spontaneous Musings - is literally just that. Whatever fits my mood. And my writing style often changes to fit it as well.
Anything else?: (Ummm...time to go to bed not been sleeping grandly, stressed out of my gorge at work, and depressed that I have no time to build a social life? Nah, you don't want to hear thaaat.) I read fanfic, but rarely admit to it. Best right now are rahriah's scrabbles or short Spuffy stories. Which make me smile. Totally G rated. Just about the little day to day things. I miss beanbeans Blue Skies - which she kept promising to finish and clearly never will - I've written fanfic in my head on that one. I've written fanfic, weird fanfic, which I think scared people off. Mostly just wrote essays, lots and lots of weird essays, which for a while got a heck of a lot of attention, now, luckily or unluckily depending on mood and your pov, not so much. (Had mixed feelings about all the attention.)
