Revenge and other things...
Nov. 17th, 2011 11:00 pm1. Work is making me extremely cranky and testing every last ounce of patience. But at least I am wickedly busy. Makes the days fly by. In other words not bored. Annoyed. Irritated. About ready to kick people at times. Working for big organizations private or public has its challenges. But not bored. Boredom - I've decided is dangerous.
2) DVR is 80% full and I'm beginning to notice a trend. I clearly have no interest in watching violent, crime oriented, dramas any longer. Yet, I keep taping them. This is interesting. Here's a list of the series on my DVR which I can't get myself to watch or delete for that matter (because I keep thinking I will watch them):
!. Nikita (10 episodes)
2. Hell on Wheels (2 episodes)
3. Walking Dead (2 episodes)
4. Supernatural (3 episodes)
I have, however, finally canceled House. Too bored.
3)Saw Revenge tonight, entertaining. I rather Gabriel Mann who portrays Nolan, E-Amanda's right hand man and source of income. Actually Nolan and E-Amanda are my favorite characters. Emily's friend, party planner and Victoria's assistant, Ashley is turning into a bit of a bitca and getting developed, interesting.
( Revenge )
4)On the ratings front - according to EW, Once Upon a Time was 16 last week, and 20 this week in the Neilsen ratings. Hee. It's still the top rated new show next to Person of Interest. They keep flipping positions. Rather surprised and pleased about Once, normally fantasy shows don't do that well. But I have noticed people at work discussing it...which means it has a broader appeal or more mainstream appeal, a la Lost, than most of these types of series. I usually like cult shows that no one has heard of, so am relieved when a show I like hits mainstream.
Did decide to tape Person of Interest tonight, since both Secret Circle and Grey's are on hiatus at the moment. Will try it out and see if any good. Thursdays are crowded nights for me. Also taped Community, Parks and Recreation (in yet another attempt to figure out the appeal), and Louis (another episode found). Off to shower and bed.
