Revenge and other things...

1. Work is making me extremely cranky and testing every last ounce of patience. But at least I am wickedly busy. Makes the days fly by. In other words not bored. Annoyed. Irritated. About ready to kick people at times. Working for big organizations private or public has its challenges. But not bored. Boredom - I've decided is dangerous.
2) DVR is 80% full and I'm beginning to notice a trend. I clearly have no interest in watching violent, crime oriented, dramas any longer. Yet, I keep taping them. This is interesting. Here's a list of the series on my DVR which I can't get myself to watch or delete for that matter (because I keep thinking I will watch them):
!. Nikita (10 episodes)
2. Hell on Wheels (2 episodes)
3. Walking Dead (2 episodes)
4. Supernatural (3 episodes)
I have, however, finally canceled House. Too bored.
3)Saw Revenge tonight, entertaining. I rather Gabriel Mann who portrays Nolan, E-Amanda's right hand man and source of income. Actually Nolan and E-Amanda are my favorite characters. Emily's friend, party planner and Victoria's assistant, Ashley is turning into a bit of a bitca and getting developed, interesting.
Interesting show. Not a lot happened, but several things were put into place. Lydia remembered the picture of Emily-Amanda, but Em-Amanda was smart enough to get Nolan to ever so slightly alter it. So Lydia thinks she's losing it. Em-Amanda also used Victoria's investigation into her past and Frank against her - she has thought this through. She used the real Emily Thorn's back story, about killing the foster parent who was abusing her - to great affect. When the cops asked, she answered. When Daniel accused Mom, Em told him she had good reason - she did this horrible thing she was ashamed of. She also had an iron-tight albi. And..has done a good job of making it look like it was either Victoria or Conrad who did it - since Frank's car was left nearby (that's how the real Emily got there).
The only wrinkle is the real Emily (aka Amanda aka Carrie) who Nolan calls the psycho.
This gal hit it off with Jake, and did not fly off to Paris as Em-Amanda had hoped. How much you want to bet...that she may be the one who offs Daniel? The suspects keep mounting up.
Meanwhile we have Tyler planting bad thoughts about Em into Ashley's head. Watch it Tyler, Nolan has you on tape. Tyler did screw up with Daniel though - since Daniel has left the bar and gone back to work with Daddy. But, Tyler also managed to piece together Lydia's speech which Victoria attempted to shred.
This week, Daniel walked away from Victoria. Furious with her. Convinced she may have had Frank killed and set up Em. And how dare she investigate his girlfriend who he is in love with. But he also noticed that Em left their bed and did something, then came back again. (She burned the real Emily Thorn's photo and did something with a phone, that made no sense to me, I rewound three times and it still makes no sense. Was she tracking something? Was she just hiding Frank's phone? Why not get rid of it?)
They are building the bit that Charlotte is not Conrad's. Last night, obvious hint, when Conrad calls Charlotte a "Grayson" and they bond. So close. And how much she hates Mom. (I thought, okay, definitely Clark's kid. No doubt about it.)
We're also told that CCH Pounder's Warden is the one who taught Em how to be conniving and clever...to use her mind not her fists to get ahead. Make friends of people she wants to kick.
Lots building. Curious to see where they go, because I really am not sure at this point. Which is why I love these types of shows, I can never predict them.
4)On the ratings front - according to EW, Once Upon a Time was 16 last week, and 20 this week in the Neilsen ratings. Hee. It's still the top rated new show next to Person of Interest. They keep flipping positions. Rather surprised and pleased about Once, normally fantasy shows don't do that well. But I have noticed people at work discussing it...which means it has a broader appeal or more mainstream appeal, a la Lost, than most of these types of series. I usually like cult shows that no one has heard of, so am relieved when a show I like hits mainstream.
Did decide to tape Person of Interest tonight, since both Secret Circle and Grey's are on hiatus at the moment. Will try it out and see if any good. Thursdays are crowded nights for me. Also taped Community, Parks and Recreation (in yet another attempt to figure out the appeal), and Louis (another episode found). Off to shower and bed.

Date: 2011-11-18 04:22 pm (UTC)Looked to me like she was planting it under the Grayson's porch. She'd scrubbed it clean of whatever would incriminate her, and is now planting it as evidence against Conrad & Victoria...

Date: 2011-11-18 05:33 pm (UTC)Thanks. I couldn't figure out what she was doing. It looked like she hid it at her house and in the bushes, which made no sense at all.
