Jun. 9th, 2016 09:43 pm1. Sanders agrees to unite with Hillary to defeat Trump YAY! This is after meeting with Obama, and Obama endorsing Hillary. Elizabeth Warren is slated to endorse Hillary tonight.
The Republicans are still on the fence regarding Trump. Mitt Romney has gone up considerably in my estimation for blatantly refusing to endorse Trump and protesting his nomination.
[ETA: For Election Relief - Try Yelling F*CK from Funny or Die. "If you have just realized Donald Trump may become President, Try yelling F*ck. Note, while this is approved for use by the FDA for everyone, it is not approved for use by the ass**les who got us here. And is covered by Obama Care."
Also on Face book was a New Yorker article about the fact that many people believe we are living in a computer simulation put on by far-future generations. Which would, if you think about it, explain a lot. But no, it doesn't track logically speaking, sorry.]
2. Lovely day today. Sun was shining. Blue skies. No clouds. Crisp clean air. In the 60s and 70s.
Stay this way, please. (I admit I prefer Spring and Fall to Summer or Winter.)
3. Saw an insanely beautiful and expensive shirt that I lusted after in a boutique shop window. But alas, it is $350. I can't afford a shirt for $350, that's the amount I'd spend at L&T for an entire wardrobe on a good day. Then feel guilty about spending it afterwards. How do people afford these things? My sisinlaw is selling insanely beautiful clothes that she designs for the same amount $350.
All organic fabrics, loving made, no sweat-shops, with environementally sustainable fabrics...but they cost between $300-700 dollars, each.
4. I appear to be working in a Dilbert cartoon, the fact that it is a public government agency most likely doesn't help. [Dear US and NYS Governments, please do not legislate any more social programs or social improvements until you figure out how to implement them and raise the funds to do it effectively. Thank you.]
