Happy New Year from Brooklyn, NY. Cold here, about 10 degrees F, which is probably - something C.
Why anyone wants to stand out in the middle of Times Square tonight is beyond me. I've done it, well, sort of, we used to hang out in bars in the vicinity -- we never stood with the millions in Times Square, because not crazy. You can watch it on tv.

Anyhow, they finished the countdown. There's the boom of fireworks in the distance. And New York, New York is playing in the background.
Happy 2018 -- hope it brings joy, peace, and kindness in its wake.
