Well, I suppose it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one trying not to go slowly insane? I feel like I've been forced into solitary confinement without even a fluffy pet or plant to keep me company. I do have a nice window to look out of - with trees and chirping birds.

Today, around 3:40 PM - I got fed up enough with the virus news and work to host my own personal little dance party.

"Good Lovin" by the Rascals came on my IPhone Apple Music -

And I decided - okay that's it - it's time to Dance it Out! So I whirled about my apartment dancing to Good Loving.

Yes, folks, it's come to that. I'm hosting solo dance parties in my apartment during work to 1960s hits - that aired before I was born. (I was born in 1967, this was 1966, I'll have you know.)

Actually I'm an excellent dancer when no one is watching. And it was a great work out. I'm going to do this every day - host a five minute dance party. I have the space for it. Yes, there's a plus side to being frugal in the furnishing department.

1. The SOURCE of my morning anxiety attack. I'll say this much for my state and federal leaders - they are very good at finding new and interesting ways to send my blood pressure through the roof not to mention anxiety.

I've been texting my co-workers, Chidi and Arziphale. Along with associated friends.

One asked how long I thought we'd be stuck doing this from home? I told them that according to our Governor, 9 months, which was the source of my anxiety attack this morning. I immediately went online and ordered a wireless mouse.

The other source of anxiety and rage - was the Contractor from hell, who cost me three hours of hard work. Between him and my lap-top, I was fed up and hosted a dance party for myself at 3:42 PM.

2. To do this - I've established a routine of sorts. Read more... )

For the exercise routine - I've pulled out weights, and various stretch bands, yoga block, yoga roll bar, tennis ball, etc.

After this is over - I may actually lose weight and be in great shape. Which is kind of hilarious if you think about it. Yes, it took a pandemic to motivate me to start exercising and eating right - in the solitude of my apartment. I really want junk food and chocolates, but I don't have any and can't get them. I'm afraid to leave my apartment to go get them and no one will deliver them to me. This amuses me to no end.

3. Okay, I'm wondering about various television shows now...

They appear to be disappearing. More than one did not show preview footage, but instead showed the credits.

Wait, I got an explanation on that one - the reason we are getting credit sequences and not previews or promos is because no one is there to insert that footage. Marketing the show is a non-essential function. So, yes, there are more shows, just no one is at the network to insert the trailers and promote them.

This is very weird situation. I feel like I'm stuck inside a surreal sci-fi series, and it's kind of boring and lonely. I want out!

4. What to binge-watch? When I find time to binge watch...

Apparently "Deep Space Nine" is available for Binge Watching on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Hmm. I only saw two-three seasons of it. It moved around a lot when it aired and disappeared.

CW is binge watching it with her significant other. We've been texting each other.

Considering Outlander. Also considering Cheer. And finishing Sabrina. Although all are a bit on the dark side of the fence. And I want light and fluffy right now.

More Dance Party! Less doom and gloom!

I watched Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist - tonight, and you really can't get more fluffy than that.
