Persistent sinus headache all day long. It's actually been coming and going all week long - combination of changes in barometric pressure, and allergies, also tension.

Anyhow, still binge-watching Teen Wolf, at the moment I just watch whatever hits my interest. It doesn't have to make sense. I tried an a musical version of Pride and Prejudice - yes, someone actually created a musical version, staged it, and filmed it. It's horrible. I tried - and it's...the songs just don't work. It's not a piece that lends itself to a musical. I actually think Emma might - they also did it as a musical - I may try it. Honestly, people have been absurd with Austen, like Shakespeare, they figure since it is in the public domain - anything goes. It blows my mind how many disappointing adaptations and published fanfics of Austen novels there are... There are a handful of good ones, but most aren't. The Brontes had the same problem apparently.

It's not like there aren't more books out there to adapt - so why just those? Over and over again?

Oh well... sorry, headaches make me irritable.

This is Day #14 of the 30 Days of Halloween Challenge.

The prompt is:

Television Series you thought you wouldn't like and ended up loving

My choice:

Breaking Bad

I had to be talked into it. I tried it - didn't like it. Various people online loved it. Then I had a co-worker, frustrated screenwriter/current co-manager, who talked me into it. He intrigued me, and explained the third season is the best.

So...I gave it a second chance and got pulled in.

This happens more often than not with shows. Often I'll think, meh, and then somewhere around the second or third season - I get sucked in.

Day #10 of the 30 Days of Halloween

The prompt is:

A favorite musical orchestration (must be orchestration not song) that is spooky or scary or Halloween oriented - it can be associated with a television show, film, or separate entity

See? This is why you should have picked songs for the previous category. Aren't I evil?

Mine?

Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky from the movie Fantasia.
