We've been at this for about nine months now.

I skipped yesterday. Thought about skipping today.

It's still gloomy outside. No sun, or not really any sun. Gray clouds. And the trees are kind of drooping. They look depressed. Maybe because they aren't getting rain or sun, and this is just pointless.

Yesterday I got rid of four sacks of books [and I still have more books than I know what to do with], and about ten DVDs (Harry Potter, Game of Thrones S1, and Pride & Prejudice - the Kiera Knightly film version). I did not get rid of my Buffy and Angel DVDs, I don't know why - but for some reason I can't quite get myself to part with the little buggers. Oh, and I got an HDMI adapter to hook up the DVD player (co-worker gave me) to Television, at some point in the not to distant future when I am really bored.

I have a plan regarding my book shelving problem (ie. too little shelves, too many books and an allergy to dust and mold. So, I'm going to use old coffee table - put most of books in it, push it against the wall, turn over the cushioned top for trays and stack books on those. Voila a shelving, book storage unit.

Amazon HD Fire for some reason or other isn't charging properly. I hope it does charge - otherwise I'll have to buy a new one, and I don't want to do that. (My comic collection is on the damn thing.) Also, I made apple muffins yesterday. I thought about pancakes, but wasn't in the mood. There's 24 muffins - this will last me at least a week. Or should.

The pictures are from yesterday's walk around the cemetery - which was cut short - since the cemetery decided to close at 5:30 now instead of 6pm on Saturday. I didn't take much of a walk today - due to sciatic nerve and lower back issues. My body was killing me after the brief one yesterday. I think my arthritis is acting up - a side-effect of the shifts in temperature and weather, and sitting too long. So I did stretches today while watching more episodes of She Rah and the Princesses of Power.

I spent most of today watching it - I like it better than the other cartoons I've watched, partly because it's less male centric. Usually in these shows, it's a male coming of age story, and we have a male good guy, and male bad guy and their separate journeys towards enlightenment. Here - as a nifty change of pace - we have two women, and one on the side of good, one on the side of evil and there separate journey's towards enlightenment - with one chasing the other one. Granted I may have burned out on the male centric coming of age story after watching some episodes of The Steven Universe, What We Do in the Shadows, Avatar the Last Air Bender, episodes of Korra, and episodes of Teen Wolf. Not to mention an episode of The Right Stuff, and the Boys in the Band. Anywho, She-Rah is growing on me, and it's animation isn't bad. At least I can tell everyone apart, and its pretty. Also the writers have a sense of humor - they are quite witty.

Adora: "How was I supposed to know the Horde was evil?"
Beau and Glimmer: Because it's call the evil horde.
Adora: Who calls it that?
Beau and Glimmer: Everyone!

Day #29 of the 30 Day Television Challenge. Getting near the end - which is a good thing, since I'm growing weary of it.

The prompt is ...Character whose introduction improved a television series.

I'm drawing a blank. I know there's something...can I use Buffy again? It's my meme, my rules. I can do whatever I want.

I am going to go with Farscape instead. Chiana - showed up towards the end of S1, and that's when the series suddenly got really good. I'd almost recommend folks starting Farscape, to skip ahead to the Chiana episode.

I kind of screwed up. I used Day 29 for Day 24. Mainly because Day 29 of the Halloween Challenge is the same as Day 24 of the Television Challenge. Confused? So am I obviously.

Anyhow...Day 24 was supposed to be A television horror/science fiction anthology series that you'd recommend.

I'm going old school, although I know there's new stuff on, I've just not watched it.
