On the front door leading into my apartment building are three signs:

We Stand with the Ukraine
(in Russian - Solidarity with Ukraine)
Support the Ukraine.

With the Ukrainian flag displayed on each.

I did mention that my apartment complex is heavily Russian, mainly Russian Jew, and Polish - right?

Needless to say, I support the Ukraine.

Crazy workplace continues to be insane. BYT told me today that it had decided to adopt the procedures of another agency that doesn't do the same things we do, or handle the same issues, and is more bureaucratic.

Meanwhile, at lunch time, I decided to get a snack up in the Air Train Building. And had to go through the homeless gauntlet. The barriers have not stopped them from hanging out up there. They line the currently small passageway from the Air Train concourse to the commuter rail concourse. No wonder the folks with luggage opt to use the escalators instead of the elevators or going across - they have to navigate all the crazy homeless people.

I'd say I've gotten used to seeing the homeless daily, but I don't. It's a painful reminder of how our society has failed in oh so many ways.

On the news today was the New Yorker of the Week - which was someone who worked for the non-profit Globetops - which refurbishes laptops and other technical equipment for those in need around the globe. If interested? The link is above. I may donate myself. I have an old laptop and phone that I need to get rid of - although they are more than two years old.

Anyhow...not much else to add..except they are getting closer to lifting the mask mandates. (The idiot running for the Republicans announced on the news that the mask mandates don't work...and masks haven't been proven to work. Sigh. All Evidence to the Contrary. I've not gotten sick and I've worn masks. The only time I did get sick was when I was NOT wearing a mask.
I truly despise the Republican Party. It truly has no redeeming value.) They announced that people could still wear masks - that it was a personal choice, and no one should be bullied for wearing one.

Stupid leadership is making me anxious. Note: the reason we have a mental health crisis is bad leadership.

Just flirted with a job opportunity at Google - except there's no way they'd hire me, I don't have enough experience in IT contracts, and I'm in my 50s. But tempting.

Ah well. Just got to keep on trucking as they say..

Here's a picture...
