Oct. 4th, 2022 09:42 pmI'm having one of those...Universe? You didn't bop off enough people, you need to get back on that - weeks.
Maybe I should go back to watching the Africa documentary - those animals are blood thirsty. I watched two giraffes womp each other with their heads and necks over a mate. Watching giraffes fight is...well an experience.

Bought more books via SmartBitches recs - on Kindle. Two Kindle Daily Deals - both horror or gothic. One by T Kingfisher - "Twisted", people keep mentioning the author online, so I'm curious. And one about a haunted Lake House with secrets, and a missing sister, who mysteriously died there. I got that one as a Kindle Unlimited - for free - which is good, since I can't remember the title or synopsis.
I like reading horror better than watching it - possibly because I can skim, also I agree with my niece, the horror isn't quite as present or in my face or memorable. We have visual memories in our family - once we see an image - it's forever embedded in our minds.
Discussion on Twitter about Harold Robbins, which made no sense.
Me: Didn't he also write the Carpetbaggers? I read a lot of him as a teen, he was kind of the male version of Jackie Collins and Jaqueline Suzanne, also similar to Sydney Sheldon. Also did a film version.
Poster: No, not O'Hara.
Me:...WTF
Carver: Harold Robbins, which brings us back to the original tweet in a loop.
Me: ... (looks it up) - Eh, according to this the Carpetbaggers was written by Harold Robbins.
My day has been like this. A continuous "Who's on First, What's on Second" circular debate leading nowhere.
If I don't bop someone over the head this week - it will be a miracle.
