Have a hair appointment at 11 am, and have to take off sometime around 10:15 am. It takes about twenty minutes to get there with walk. Maybe less. But alas there are train delays due to signal issues because NYCT decided to fix other things prior to fixing its centuries old signal system.
24. Have you read Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” or seen any of the films (do you have a favourite ‘Scrooge’ from the films)?
Both read and seen the films. Do I have a favorite? Not really. They kind of blur together, honestly. I can't watch or read it any longer. It's memorized.
25. It’s Christmas Day – what’s for lunch?
Um, that would have been two days ago (I'm behind)... I had breakfast (eggs and greens) skipped lunch (unless you count sampling cheese lunch), and ended up with an early dinner of home-made Lasagna that I made with Cesar Salad and Pumpkin Pie.
26. In the UK it’s Boxing Day – does anything special happen where you live today?
No. I did absolutely nothing. I do need to take the recycling down today, which is the day after Boxing Day. I've never really understood the holiday - is it about picking up boxes? Or going to boxing matches? Or boxing yourself?
