ATPO Gathering Question?
Jun. 9th, 2005 07:03 pmWhich day would be best for me to come up to the Ramada and meet people? (I plan to meet people in Manhattan on any activities they'd like to do that weekend, but thought it might be useful if I tried to come up one day as well?)
I've been considering Sunday or I can take Friday off work and try to come up that day?

Date: 2005-06-10 12:08 am (UTC)And, as Masq said, I'm not going to be there Friday night (at least, not for most of the night). Saturday and Monday will be indoor days, probably, but you might want to think about Saturday the 2nd--Alice is tentatively planning the group Chinese dinner.

Date: 2005-06-10 08:47 am (UTC)If the big dinner is Saturday, I'll be doing the sit-but-not-eat thing, like in Vancouver. Which I could do, but I'd kinda rather not. Well, I guess I'll be doing that Sat. night (& maybe lunch, too) in any case, unless we order in. On the other hand, if that pushes the big dinner to Monday & a buncha folks have left by then, it's not worth it.
I guess I just wanna have it both ways. And now I feel like I've hijacked 'kat's LJ...I should probably put this on the board, huh?

Date: 2005-06-10 09:56 am (UTC)Glad I asked. But I did plan on doing the Shakespear in the Park.
Reasons to come Friday:
1.From what I understand, everyone that's on my flist will be there on Friday, fresh, not talked out, excited. At least one won't be there on Sat.
2. Can see the fireworks from the deck.
Reasons to come on Sat?
dinner planned and lots will be insided (augh, claustrophobia strikes)
I might come for the dinner on Sat with Alice, and come up part day on
monday. So far, have no plans for the 4th.
