AGE
56

BED SIZE
Queen (ALL FOR ME! bwahahaha!) Although I only really sleep on the right side of it.

CAT NAME
I have none, but my brother's cat Piper is one that I get to spend time with whenever I visit. Picture below:

DOG NAME

No dogs in my life. Unless you count the ones I see in the apartment complex and on the sidewalks, which I say hello to a lot.

EYE COLOUR

Green. I've been told Hazel, Grey-Green, even blue and grey-blue. I dunno - I never really know what color "hazel" is? My eyes are green whenever I look in the mirror. But look blue to others whenever I wear blue or grey. But green is what it says on my driver's license!

FAVOURITE COLOUR

Purple or Violet

DO GHOSTS EXIST
I've never heard or seen any evidence that they do! But, I've felt the energy. I've been in places that I had to leave immediately. Also, when I was in college, the lights turned off and on without warning once. It freaked me out - and was after we used a ouija board. But - it's possible someone pulled a prank. I remain agnostic on the subject.

HEIGHT
5'11.44 or 6 foot if I stand up completely straight.

INSTRUMENTS PLAYED
I took piano when I was between the ages of 8-14, and was fine with right hand melody. And struggled when they added left hand chords. But when the teacher started adding FEET - well, the teacher pulled my mother aside, who was also taking piano lessons, and informed her that I should quit while I was ahead, because this was too painful. And I was not musically inclined.

I took up the acoustic guitar in college. Tried to teach myself. (I decided teachers at this point were useless.) And finally gave up after mastering maybe two chords?

JEALOUS TYPE
Not really. Certainly not romantically. I don't necessarily want what the other person has, I often envy what they are doing. And that's often just a sign that I'm unsatisfied with whatever I'm doing.

Envy, yes? That's the emotion I struggle with - usually someone is taking a trip I want to take, or has been able to do something I desperately want to do. Like retire and become a full time published novelist and artist. Which means I really should work towards doing it myself. Along with traveling. I read recently that Envy is usually our emotions telling us that we really want to do something, and need to try and do it. Or the grass is greener mentality.

That's a pet peeve actually - how people use the words jealousy and envy interchangably, they aren't the same thing.

KIDS
none, thankfully :D

LONGEST RELATIONSHIP
none, romantically. It's weird to me that I have people in the NYC (20 years) and online on Dreamwidth and Facebook that I have known for nearly 20 years now. It sometimes feels like I can't possibly have been here that long! (28 years in March this year. I moved to NYC in 1996.)

MOOD RIGHT NOW
is "avoiding work" a mood? (Depressed and anxious. Also a little bored and restless. I keep feeling like I need to be doing something or forgetting something but can't figure out what it is.)

NIGHT OWL

Yes. Even though I get up at 5:45 am every morning for work. I can't get to sleep before 11:30-12 midnight.

OVERNIGHT STAYS IN HOSPITAL

Once, with severe gastroenteritis. Lead to the diagnosis of ceiliac disease.

PET PEEVE

Bullies. (who tend to be Stupid, bureaucratic, incompetent, entitled, high maintenance people).

ANNOYING QUESTION

Gad, I don't know. Drawing a blank at the moment. I probably have a list somewhere.

RIGHT OR LEFT-HANDED

Right.

SIBLINGS

One. A younger brother.

FAVOURITE TV SHOW

Probably General Hospital, which is just sad. I watch it for something to discuss with mother. I did love Slow Horses. Anything else? I don't know. Peaky Blinders was a fav for most of last year, but alas it's ended. Most television shows are limited series nowadays, so they are favs for the length of time I'm watching them?

FAVOURITE UNCLE
I have many uncles. Favorite was Uncle R, who is the poet, former cold war spy, Major in Army Intelligence, and Vietnam Vet, also frustrated novelist, and the closest to my Dad in age. We spent the most time with him - growing up. And he was the only one my Dad would visit or stay with.

VACATION PLANS
None at the moment! That needs to change!

FELLOW TRAVELLER
nobody! I travel solo! (Although I keep trying to plan a vacation with Wales, but Wales is flaky, cheap, and unreliable. This is a woman who packed her bag five minutes before her cab arrived to take her to the airport. And almost missed her flight. Also she can't remember if she has a passport.)

XBOX OR NINTENDO 64
Neither. I'm not a vidder. I don't understand them. The last video game I played was in the 1980s, before Nintendo existed.

YUMMY FOOD
Pretty much everything I cannot eat or shouldn't eat? Apple pie. Pumpkin pie. Cupcakes. Quiche. Ravoli. Brownies. Ice Cream. Pancakes. Waffles. Sigh.

FAVOURITE ANIMAL AT THE ZOO

I don't like Zoos? But I'd say Giraffes. Although I do adore the big cats.

Hazel seems to be a catch-all for everything from light brown to mostly green to blue with lots of speckles of other colors. My mother's eyes were that last option and she always said they were hazel.

It sounds like your eyes look different in various kinds of light.
