Planning on going to bed soon.

1. I'm flirting with the idea of writing a fictional fantasy journal online - can I set up a separate journal on DW for that purpose, or will it cost me? Is there a better spot - say wordpress?

2. Managed to get 6 hrs and 10 minutes of sleep last night. Most of it CORE. Discovered something 1 hour of Deep, 2 hours Core, and 1 of REM - makes me groggy and tired. 4 hours and 28 minutes of Core, 48 minutes of Deep, and 1 hour and 30 minutes or so of REM (this may not be exact, I suck at numbers but CORE was the most, Deep the least) - well rested. Leading me to believe that I need CORE more than the other two?

Idk.

3. Every once and a while random quotes from Television shows, books, etc will creep into my brain. Does this happen to anyone else?

Just now? "You know nothing, Jon Snow" - that pops in a lot, except, replaced by my name.

4. Been listening to widely diverse music of late.

I don't normally tend to like Pop but there are two Taylor Swift songs which oddly stick with me, like warmly endearing yet annoying earworms.

"It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me
At tea time, everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero"

I feel this overwhelming urge to edit out all the ex-lover/romantic elements. Swift's songs would be great if I could get rid of the ex-boyfriend references.

Then there's Karma:

"'Cause karma is my boyfriend
Karma is a god
Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend
Karma's a relaxing thought
Aren't you envious that for you it's not?
Sweet like honey, karma is a cat
Purring in my lap 'cause it loves me
Flexing like a goddamn acrobat
Me and karma vibe like that"

* Amanda Palmer does the same thing, although I wouldn't call her Pop. I rather love her album "There will be no Intermission" where she sings about Judy Blume.

* Then there's Jelly Roll, who intrigues me because he isn't who he appears to be. He's not a right wing Christian freak.

Mother: Anyone with the type of tattoos he has - wouldn't strike me as a right wing Christian Freak.

I liked the song he sang at the Emmy's. So much that I downloaded it along with his album.

* Roan Chappell - who got herself into trouble over something? I have no idea. People, particularly insane cultish fans - are well, bewildering?
But she has some interesting songs. They aren't ear worms though.

I listen to over fifty different musicians daily, including instrumental.
It's background noise for commute and work.

Damn, the Taylor Swift songs really are earworms, aren't they?

5. You ever feel like people are responding to you without actually reading what you wrote?

Caveat: I do not mean on Dreamwidth per se, and this isn't in regards to anything on it. Mainly this has to do with Twitter, FB and sigh Work.

Okay off to bed.

#1: you can set up a separate account on DW and it won't cost anything. Also DW won't require any additional setup, which (to my understanding) is not the case with Wordpress.

I've always figured that's why she's so popular.

Yes, random stuff is always popping into my head - sometimes it's an annoying name that won't stop saying itself. Sometimes a music earworm.
