Trying not to fall asleep while scrolling through my Dreamwidth Flist, although to be fair - it was reading pages from the scanned comic Animal Pound that almost put me to sleep. A comic book writer/graphic artist decided to do his own version of animal farm - except at a pound with pets. The whole thing starts with a speech by a cat about how their lives are controlled by doors. If they could open the doors they would be free. (I'm thinking, well, you are a cat and I've seen videos of cats opening doors.)
It ends with the Cat and Dog uniting to overthrow the pound owners and taking over. The cat is named Fifi and the Dog Titan. I don't think this will end well for the cat.

Meanwhile, people seem to be worried about visiting the US right now? Don't be, the only folks who should be concerned are those visiting the US illegally. I live in NYC, there's a lot of foreigners here. If you aren't an illegal immigrant and just vacationing, going to a convention/conference, or have a visa, you should be fine. (This is interesting? It makes me realize that various spots in the world I thought were dangerous - probably aren't in reality, and I should visit? I mean it's all relative? People in the US think Australia is scary because the internet has posted all sorts of pictures of huge spiders and snakes. But honestly? Most places, you won't see them. The internet loves to exaggerate and ahem, post lies about stuff. Be wary.)

And, I saw two posts that made me giggle.

Apparently wiki needs to work on its diversity of penises. And there's an advertising how you can enhance your penis to 15 inches - the poster wondered why you'd want to and where would you put it?

I actually drew a man in a live drawing class via Art Student League who had a 10 inch penis - it was huge. But then so was the man. Very attractive too. We'd sit in a circle around the subject and sketch them. I asked the substitute teacher what was off about my drawing - because perspective seemed off somehow. She didn't know. But when I asked the drawing instructor when he returned, he figured it out. I'd drawn the penis the same size as his arm (it was in my defense a really big penis) - the model was amused and grinned.

I've not been sleeping well - hence the drifting to sleep today at inopportune times - not that this was necessarily one of them. I kept dozing off at work, and on the train. I need to get to bed earlier somehow, or rather sleep without constant waking. I'm trying to slowly eliminate sweets, and chocolate - or the degree from my diet, and get a balance of carbs and non-carbs, while staying gluten-free. I can't decide if the hot flashes are menopause related or blood sugar related.

Finished the Schmactors podcasts - I want more. They were funny, comforting, and interesting. It does help if you like or enjoy the two actors doing the podcast and enjoy their voices - which I do. That's 90% of audio books and podcasts - whether I like the voice of the narrator or podcaster. I'm about to give up on Fourth Wing - the audio book - because the lead character's voice or the voice the narrator uses for it is a so whiny, it's why I switched to the podcast. Vocalization is 90% of any audio book - something to keep in mind for anyone who is trying to do it themselves? Make sure you have a good voice for this sort of thing. And can do more than one voice. Voice actors are usually best, and it's hard to do. Not everyone can pull it off.

Snow storm allegedly happening tonight, but once again not a whole lot of snow. There is snow on the ground, more than I expected. But it's about three inches, maybe? And they are expecting maybe 2-3 more? I think I see it snowing outside now - but it's hard to tell.

I've forgotten the other things I was going to say - which is most likely a good thing? Work went well - lovely lawyer is appreciative of what I'm doing. And the commute for once was a breeze.
