As you can see? I got behind again.

20. What do you see if you look down at the floor right now?

Wooden floor boards, somewhat shiny. (I have hard wood floors.) And my legs are up on the coffee table/ottoman.

21. It’s International Poetry Day - do you have a favourite limerick or haiku?

No. I'm not into either. I like poetry but I don't tend to remember it. And it's not haiku or limericks of which I'm fond.

22. Today is Gryffendor Pride Day – a day to celebrate all things Gryffendor! Are you familiar with the Hogwarts houses? Did you have ‘houses’ when you were at school?

Yes, I'm familiar with Hogwarts houses. No, I didn't have houses when I was at school - the US doesn't really do this? We have sororities and fraternities - so kind of? But not quite the same thing.

23. If money wasn’t an obstacle, what one luxury item/thing would you love to treat yourself to?

An expensive luxury vacation - visiting places around the world, either by private plane or train. Possibly yacht.

Either that, or an expensive recliner.

Or a series of massages.

24. It’s Veggie Month, and the recommendation is to ‘eat the rainbow’ whenever you can (lots of different coloured vegetables), what vegetables do you plan on eating today?

Don't know. I've already had various greens (breakfast and lunch), red peppers, and red cabbage. Maybe broccoli, depends on what I decide on for dinner.

25. When you were at school, what games did you play during break/recess with your friends?

Uhm, people played softball a lot? So I snuck off and read or told myself stories? Recess was horrible. At one point we had Great Books at recess - which was in the 6th grade, and great fun. Also, we put together a play - in fifth grade. I don't tend to like games? Games bring out the worst in most humans.

26. Are you allergic to any foods?

Yes. I'm gluten intolerant or ceiliac, and have multiple food sensitivities.

27. In the UK, the recommendation for minutes spent doing exercise that raises your heart rate is 150 minutes a week. Do you regularly meet that goal?

Probably not, unless you count going up and down an insane number of steps and walking for commute. I walk or take the subway everywhere.

28. In 1944, the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren sprained her ankle and began writing down the stories she had made up for her daughter. These turned into the novel "Pippi Longstocking". Have you read it?

Yes. I don't remember it. Someone I was visiting had it - and I borrowed it and read it.

29. It’s International Mermaid Day – have you seen any films featuring mermaids?

Yes. The Little Mermaid and Splash.

30. It’s the International Day of Zero Waste – have you noticed less plastic packaging when you’ve bought things recently? When did you last buy something with Polystyrene/Styrofoam packaging?

No. There's still a lot. I'm constantly recycling it. And I bought something with styrofoam this week - they still have it.

31. What crafts do you enjoy

I'm not really crafty? I paint, draw, and take photographs.

[Now I just need to find April's.]

Yes, I'm not seeing much less plastic either. And I get that styrofoam is very cheap but I hate getting takeout in it. It's so possible to substitute paper boxes for a lot of it, or even plastic if need be which consumers could re-use.
