25. It’s Global Beatles Day! What song comes into your head when you think about the Beatles?
At the moment? Here comes the sun
26. Do you love the sunshine or prefer to stay in the shade?
Shade, I'm not a sun bather. But I do need sunlight. And it does depend on how hot it is - and whether it is winter, spring, fall or summer.
27. Do you own any pairs of sandals, or do your feet remain covered in hot weather?
I own multiple pairs - but they have a slight heel and for the most part arch support? I have high arches, and can't really wear flat shoes comfortably.
28. Which is your favourite - white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, silver or platinum jewellery?
White Gold - less issues with tarnishing and skin issues. Although not into jewellery and rarely wear it. I don't like to wear things around my neck, ankles, wrists, fingers or in my ears - it gets in my way.
29. How often do you take photos?
Fairly often - depending, and usually outside of plants, flowers, trees, places. I don't of people - I hate photos of myself so am careful not to take them of others very often, or without their permission for the most part. Also not of many living things - because animals don't stay still for them - also I don't have a telescopic lens or the right camera for taking photos of animals. If I ever get up the money and courage to go to Africa on Safari - I will need to invest in a better camera, and learn how to use it. Or find someone who can - and can share the photos with me free of charge.
30. “A cold in the head in June is an immoral thing” (L M Montgomery, Canadian author, born 1874). Have you had a cold in the head so far this year?
Yes, COVID. I was out sick and miserable for a week.

Friday Five
1. Have you ever gone skinny-dipping?
Kind of? I wore a bra and panties. Did it in the ocean near Harlech Castle in North Wales - and that water was cold, and rough. By near - it was basically in the ocean below the castle in the town of Harlech on a summer's day, with overcast skies. I did it on a dare with my brother and his friend, we all stripped down to our skivvies. I was 21 at the time, he was 18. It was in the late 1980s.
2. When you're home alone, do you strip down to get comfortable?
I am always home alone so I always wear what I want. Usually jogger sweat pants and a t-shirt, sometimes a t-shirt and shorts or capris depending on the temperature. And sometimes no bra underneath.
Do you ever go out without underwear (bra and/or panties) because it's more comfortable?
I've gone bra-less once or twice. Bras are uncomfortable at times, and strain the back, so it relieves the back to not wear them. Particularly if you have big breasts.
I can't imagine how not wearing underpants in public would make anyone feel more comfortable, but to each their own. I don't like thongs either. And I find dresses and skirts to be extremely uncomfortable - the appeal of either is lost on me. You can't do anything in them. Can't even sit comfortably in public.
3. Have you ever/Do you use the bathroom with the door open? Are you comfortable using public facilities?
Yes - I've used the bathroom with the door open at home. The door just doesn't close well, and it's faster. Also I'm alone, who cares?
Am I comfortable using public facilities? Yes. I don't have a germ phobia, and figure its fine. And I've used them around the world. Every type imaginable - including a hole in the ground, and a hole in the ground that was ceramic with a bucket.
4. When getting intimate with your significant other, lights on or off?
This question appears to assume wrongly that people only have sex at night (and indoors!), and additionally that everyone has a "significant other" to get intimate with. So many assumptions. Tsk, tsk.
Honestly, I'm not sure it matters? I always had the lights on for the most part.
5. How comfortable are you with body exposure/nudity of others? Group shower rooms?, topless/nude beaches?, breastfeeding in public?
I'm in my fifties, I don't care. I didn't really care when I was in my 20s either. I remember going on a hiking trip and half the group (men and women) went topless. And at the age of 16 - I went to France, and most of the women were topless on the beach. I didn't care.
I've done live drawing classes - where we draw nude male and female models for about an hour every week - I did it in college, I did it in high school, and I did it in my 20s.
Also at the age of 13, I saw a naked man in Berlin walk out of the Sauna with nothing on, his penis flopping around like it had a mind of its own.
And I did Turkish Baths. And group showers.
So, no I don't care. I would rather not be nude myself in front of others (I like my privacy) but I really don't care that much if other people are.
Bodies are bodies.
