shadowkatFor some reason my lj keeps giving me Tom Cruise ads, what's up with that? Haven't written about the actor and his name doesn't appear anywhere in my interests? Why can't they give me Christian Bale or Daniel Craig or Mary McCormick...???
Lots of cool links in my flist lately. Several for George Carlin - who was my favorite stand-up comedian. One of the few I actually enjoyed watching when I had HBO. Will miss him, and he was so young, same age as my Dad. Not to mention the same age as John McCain. Is it just me or are a lot of famous people around the age of 70 dying at the moment? I could just be sensitive to it. At any rate - favorite George Carlin spiels are the religious hypocrisy one, the one about those ten words you can't say on TV, and another one can't remember the name of.
Have been saving In Plain Sight for a few days. It's my new favorite series. Mary McCormick is awesome in it. And tough. Anyone have any In Plain Sight, Mary McCormick icons?
I got Fiona one from Burn Notice yesterday. Hello? [I'm bored of my icons again and need some new good female ones - tv women and film women include Donna Noble, In Plain Sight's Mary McCormick, Sigorney Weaver, Sarah Conner, Jodie Foster, and Fiona from Burn Notice. In short I adore women with a strong sense of self and take shit from no one. (No Holly Hunter please, she grates on my nerves, and I staying away from Buffy for the time being. And I have too many of Claudia Black as is. New blood! ]
Yeah, go ahead, ignore me. You know you want to. ;-)
Off to watch In Plain Sight, drink Quality Sleep Tea, and veg for a while.

and actually I love all the ones I've got, so when I find something new that I love (like Doctor Horrible in this one, which should be sharper, based on the teaser Joss released today), I have trouble coming up with anything to delete.
