Cable outage aggravation

Posting from work - home internet and tv cable went out around 7 last night and was still out this morning. Which means...I missed the season finale of Glee. Not overly upset, since it will be eventually repeated.
Also missed Justified finale (should be repeated on Sunday, assuming get cable back), and Ashes to Ashes - which I was going to try again. (Always happens on nights that actually have interesting tv on to tape.) Sigh.
So to entertain self - watched the Farscape DVDs - haven't seen Farscape since 2004, so I didn't remember most of it and am finding the DVD's from season one to far more charming than I remembered and incredibly entertaining. It's amongst those rare series that have interesting character arcs for everyone.

The internet outage is more annoying - since I just volunteered to do my church's newsletter and without the net - probably won't be able to this week - unless I can manage to do dial-up. Can't do it at work.

Shouldn't whine too much though - haven't had this happen in a while and
at least it did not happen two weeks ago or last week. Would sort of like to know what happened in Glee though - like uh, did they win? Or did Vocal Adrenaline? I'm guessing they did? But could go either way.

Thanks for the message and the download info, but I discovered hulu last night and it was easier. (I sort of need to get a new computer at some point, it's five years old and downloads make it funky.)

Yeah, hulu is neat, unfortunately most of it's content is not available for Europe, so I have to use a US proxy server to use it,which damages the speed so much that there are always gaps. That's why I mostly stick with dl. I guess I'll get the DVDs once they're available.

I'm sorry you missed the 'Glee' finale! It will be up on iTunes and on 'fox online' and all over the web soon... and of course the DVDs will probably come out before the next season begins...
I wish I could help, I saw it but couldn't tape it (those days are gone forever).

Hopefully you'll get cable back again soon!
