Okay, folks, fair warning - it's Friday, the week was a battle that I slugged through with jaw firmly gripped, and trying really hard not to be a bitch, I feel like all my nerve endings are on fire and I want to strangle people. (Which basically means, don't piss me off - I will eat you for breakfast with snarky words and most likely regret it later. Came very close to not one but two meltdowns, but kept self firmly in check. Yay me. )

Relaxed with two glasses of white wine ( Oyster Bay, New Zealand, Sauvignon Blanc, with a touch of St. Germain liquor - yum! It tastes citriusy with a little zing. ) Prior to that, a chocolat/plain unsweetened soy milk, touch of skim milk, rum cocktail (hey it's healthy) and of course dinner (hamburger grilled on George Foreman min-grill (my new favorite kitchen appliance courtesy of Momster - actually Granny - I inherited from her), with red onion, two slices of tomato, dill pickle, Annie's Organic Gluten-Free Ketchup, and corn on the cob. No - bun - eww!)
So feel nicely buzzed and very snarky.

Just finished watching Covert Affairs - which has the distinction of actually being a non-racist, non-sexist, non-discriminatory action show, with a bit of a statement about sexism and racism and discrimination in the work place. Fascinating. It's sort of the action thriller version of The Good Wife (although the Good Wife is arguably better written.) I rather adore the cast - we have Piper Perabo, Sendal R. (the hot Indian guy from Heroes), Christopher Gorham (Henry from Ugly Betty, playing a blind guy - he does like playing the vision impaired),
Gregory Itzin (the villian from 24), Eric La Salle (an ex-agent who is co-starring in this episode), Peter Gallagher, and the actress who is playing his wife and the head of the unit (who is amazing and I can't remember her name.). It's a good, twisty, episodic thriller.

Don't know what I'm doing this weekend. My life is pathetic. It's work and church at the moment.
Attempting to do flat hunting and social stuff in between chores. But mostly just crashing at night due to work.

It very well may - it's gotten good reviews in both EW and Rolling Stone. (Or so the commercials keep stating.)

But it is surprising me - smartly written spy thriller - with an interesting female lead who is realistically garbed. (ie. she isn't wearing the scanty garments that Jennifer Garner wore that no spy in their right mind would wear in the field.) She wears a non-descript suit.

In the episode I just saw, Eric La Salle (one of the best things in ER), plays an ex-agent.

Have to admit - I went into it with extreemly low expectations. USA has been doing a lot of these type of action shows. But this one along with In Plain Sight, may be the best of the bunch.
