According to the new's Australia and Dubai have already had fireworks, and I think England, France, and all of Europe have as well. Moscow and Dubai's fireworks displays are by far the best. Loved Moscow's which was done in Red Square during a snow storm - quite pretty. Never seen that before. Go Moscow!

Had a nice dinner of scallops, rock shrimp, zuccini in marinara over quinoa pasta. The scallops and rock shrimp were sauteed first with scallops, cayeene pepper and shallots in extra virgin olive oil.
Lightly braised. With ice water and lime for a drink. And pomegrant for dessert or appetiser. I'm considering making myself a bourbon vanilla ice cream sundae in a bit. Bought some homemade bourbon vanilla ice cream from Steve's Ice Cream, a local brand. The new trend? Homemade ice cream with fresh ingredients - which bodes well for those of us with food allergies, because no insane additives.

Hasta La Vista 2010!! While Jon Hamm may have loved this past year. I don't know about anyone else? But I'm Very happy to see 2010 go by-by. While you, 2010, were better than 2009, you were difficult at times. Actually I consider, 2010 my emotional and physical recovery from 2009 which felt a bit like falling off an emotional and physical cliff or bike. 2010 was me climbing back up said cliff or back on said bike again. Baby steps. Accomplished everything but the gym and exercise routine, due to an unexpected set back that I'm recouping from. (Bad coughs and stress fractures can get in the way of exercise, just saying.) Don't worry won't bore you with my list of accomplishments, 2010 traumas, or failed/successful resolutions. Nor will I bore with my resolutions for 2011...which I'm unlikely to stick to let alone remember anyhow. I'm keeping it simple this year - to continue what I'm doing right, learn from what I did wrong, and be positive, hopeful, and most important kind. Open to new people and new relationships. On second thought that's not simple - maybe just try to lose weight? May be a lot more easier. (Is it wrong to hate the skinny woman on NY1 whose new year's resolution is to eat more carbs, pizza and bagels? Yes, it is. Oops, already broke one resolution. Be kind! Be Kind!)

The end of the year list stuff will have to wait until tomorrow...not up to it tonight, mind is a regrettably tired blank.

Off to watch more Breaking Bad - which is a whole lot better than I remember, I think I just didn't stick with it long enough? Cancer Man is one of the best written episodes of a tv show I've seen in a while. Love, love, love the final scene. And uh, maybe have some of that bourbon vanilla ice cream.

See yah next year!

Happy new year to you too!

And yay to the Breaking Bad love. I'm completely addicted to it. It's incredible. I could marvel at it for days. I love every little bit of it. The actors, the writing, the science. It's a thing of beauty.
